Each Harmony Life, Interior Alignment training session combines a series of 12 weekly E-based courses, group discussion, teleseminars, webinars and one-on-one time with Laurie. Culminating with a 7-day on-site training retreat where we move from study to practice. Each session takes you on a personal journey into a deeper understanding of the energy in our living and working environments, a connection with the natural world and a connection with your inner world. Your inner world is mirrored and reflected in your outer world - Interior Alignment gives you the knowledge and tools you need to help others create environments that embrace comfort, beauty, balance and inspiration.

In addition to the Interior Alignment Certification curriculum, training with Laurie Bornstein, will provide you with an additional 6 weeks of E-course materials and group discussion focused on Feng Shui history, principles and in-depth application techniques. Through this vibrant, interactive learning process you'll learn how to uniquely layer the various evaluation methods creating rich, dynamic and highly personalized enhancements to embrace the true spirit and authenticity of your clients and their environments.

During the time in-between the E-based training and the on-site training you will practice what you've learned by doing a series of case studies, giving you the opportunity to move from study to practice with personal insight and guidance from Laurie. This additional training time gives you the opportunity to enrich your knowledge and abilities, while strengthening your skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Each of these dynamic training sessions begin in October with 18 weeks of guided and interactive E-based training. From E-courses and webinars to homework, you are able to work with the training material and experience Feng Shui in your own home. Our weekly calls create an intimate group setting that supports a deeper level of learning and understanding, providing the benefits of in-person training without having to go anywhere! Learning and practicing in your own home creates an intimacy and personal focus unlike any other experience - the material literally comes to life!

The on-site segment of this training is held in beautiful Northern New Jersey. Our training location provides the intimacy and comfort of working in an environment that completely supports Interior Alignment and Feng Shui, surrounding each student with the energy that represents and demonstrates the material we are learning.

From nature walks where we connect with the spirits of the natural world to Synchro-Alignment where we connect to our inner spirits, you will move into a deeper awareness and understanding of the energy that surrounds you. And from this understanding you will be able to assist others in a deeply personal, and powerful way.

About Laurie

Laurie Bornstein is a Master Educator of Interior Alignment. She is one of 6 teachers in the world certified to teach beginning, advanced and teacher level training. Laurie is one of the original Interior Alignment Board members and is a current member of the Advisory Panel. During the 6 years she was a Foundation Council member, Laurie had the opportunity to work closely with Denise Linn in the development of the Interior Alignment training materials, the original Advanced material, development of the Teacher Practices and various other aspects of the organization.

Laurie has been an active participant in the International Feng Shui Guild for over 9 years. She is one of the original founders of the Heartland Chapter of the IFSG, the Education Committee, and served as the Education Director. She currently serves as the CEO; working to establish standards for practitioners and schools within the Feng Shui community, while creating the foundation and support the organization needs to best serve it's members.

Laurie’s practice incorporates a synergistic blend of Feng Shui methods and techniques in combination with the elements of holistic design, the power of life coaching, intuitive skills, and sacred ceremony to create a sense of comfort and balance in all areas of her students lives.

What kind of support do you offer your students?

I personally guide my students through each level of their training, ensuring a depth of understanding, and a sense of comfort, connection and support. How do I choose a training program?

Contact the schools you are considering and familiarize yourself with their perspective of Feng Shui (there are no right or wrong answers here, there are many approaches), the goal is to find a school whose approach and style resonates with you. Some questions you might want to include are: What is the length of the program, what requirements will you have to complete, ask about the cost of the program, ask about payment options and refund policies.

How do I choose a teacher?

Finding the right teacher is an important part of the learning process. Contact the teachers you are considering, ask about their style and perspective of Feng Shui. Ask about their training and how long they've been practicing and teaching. Ideally, a teachers focus is on the positive benefits of their program. How they respond and the information they share with you will be helpful in establishing a connection with them and finding your perfect fit!

Can I support myself as a Feng Shui practitioner?

Great question! If you are willing to do the work necessary to learn the practice and principles of Interior Alignment to the point where you are comfortable assessing the environments of others and are willing to do the necessary work to build your practice, you can absolutely create a successful career in Interior Alignment. Interior Alignment, was originally founded by Denise Linn, acclaimed author of Sacred Space and Feng Shui for the Soul, in 1994. Today there are more than 500 certified Interior Alignment practitioners throughout the world.
